abhaya foundation registered under FCRA

With all your good wishes and heartily support, Ministry Home Affairs finally registered under FCRA. It was almost 14 months of process, follow up with the officials of the Ministry. Now abhaya can accept foreign contributions through Andhra Bank Account. Please find enclosed here with the Registration of MHA for your kind information. Please do let us know what sort of compliance is needed to be done now.

We have 80G exemption as well for the donations under the provisions of 80G which is providing 50% exemption from tax. We are now in the process of getting such exemptions to the tune of 100% or 150% with the help of well wishers.

You are aware Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) enlisted abhaya foundation in their recently published “Dossier of NGO’s” for circulating the same amongst their member companies in south India. This is again a matter of pride to all of us. No one now in the country can ask what is abhaya doing? Hope you may have seen the copy of the CII publication @ site

Is this not the time to spread the message love and care amongst all our companies… friends… relatives… well wishers… clients… across the country stating that abhaya is the best plat form to translate good thoughts… words… in to ACTION. May we now request you to be with abhaya on regular basis please.

After years of HEART work, with the support of donors and well wishers... abhaya CCL Empowerment Campus at Anatapuram is completed. Trustees formed the Executive Body and visited the campus too. At abhaya we strive to lend a hand to the needy at all times. We also encourage other organisations who would want to serve the society. The 2020 population count was a stellar accumulation of unimaginable numbers. It outlined the total population of the country sweeping 1.3 Billion in numbers. Given the gradual and imminent increase in the population over years we can approximate the numbers to have touched the ceiling limit of 1.4 million – given the 50 births per minute record rate. As obvious as it sounds, the census was not only about recording the total population. It counted the total males, females, poor, rich, healthy, sick, young, old, homeless … ah, the homeless. abhaya's lending hand to Surabi Drama Co

All the big and successful business magnates like The Ambani's, Tata's and Birla's have one common mantra for their success, yes it's a generation run business, to be precise it's a third-generation run business. If a third-generation business can reach such great heights, we can imagine what Fifth-Generation artists would have achieved. I take the opportunity here to introduce the famous Surabi Drama Co of Hyderabad which was set up in a mere garage by Vanarasa Govinda Rao in 1885 which is now the only surviving example of Company Theatre. In the initial stages, it started with Puppet shows and now more than 240 families are a part of the play. The plays are now been directed by Padmashri Rekandar Nagesh. All Surabhi productions are large-scale mythological and musical plays, based on stories from the Ramayana , Mahabharata and Shrimad Bhagavatam.
