Mission Abdullah :Educare



Abdullah approached Abhaya foundation in March 2015. At that time he was studying third year BTech in Vignana Jyothi Institue of Engineering and Technology, Bachupally. His room rent was 2500 and had to bear food expenses also. He got support from his relative also but that was not sufficient. Abhaya suggested him part time job.

Soon he got one part time job and started earning Rs.800. Abhaya added support by providing accommodation money. He is working well and at the same time concentrated on his studies. He attended SEVA MELA and felt how good it was to stand by needy person. He attended Abhaya annual event and was surprised to see the huge support provided by Abhaya to many.

He took coaching for GATE. Abdullah concentrated on exams and at the same time on GATE coaching also. He is attending special classes in college for campus recruitment. As part of corporate social responsibility (CSR) , Hynudai started sponsoring Abdullah. His father got paralysis and is not able to speak or do his own work.
Abdullah started worked in Reddy’s laboratory and also in catering for part time. After getting associated with Abhaya he helped the poor by distributing the leftover food after the farewell party and also saved a lady from a road accident. Distributed food to the people who are stuck in their houses due to heavy rains. He changed a lot after joining Abhaya.
He appeared for GATE exam and got score of 332.

abhaya Hunt The Winter 2020

  The 2020 population count was a stellar accumulation of unimaginable numbers. It outlined the total population of the country sweeping 1.3 Billion in numbers. Given the gradual and imminent increase in the population over years we can approximate the numbers to have touched the ceiling limit of 1.4 million  – given the 50 births per minute record rate.      As obvious as it sounds, the census was not only about recording the total population. It counted the total males, females, poor, rich, healthy, sick, young, old, homeless … ah, the homeless. Let’s pause and have a look at what the report has to say about it.    It is defined in the report that the homeless are those who do not live in houses, but rather stay on pavements, roadsides, railway platforms, staircases, temples, streets, in pipes, or other open spaces. Facet

Since how many days are we seeing people around us who are financially low but has immense talent. Since how many days are we seeing people around us who get deprived of oppurtunities because of their status in the society. Since how many days are we thinking that "Hope I get a chance to help such people"...."Hope I can do something to change the society I am living in". There are some people who take the lead to help others. There are some who wish they could but cannot find the correct way to do it. And there are others who have apprehensions about helping others, escpecially when money is involved. "What if the money I give doesnt reach the affected"..."What if my money gets wasted by the organisation". Believe me, I have journeyed through all the three cases. But my luck has it that I travalled exactly from the last case to the first. And now, I could trust that whatever money I collect or give or donate would definitely reach the needy...
